Third, the new method mainly uses non-metallic ores and their extensions as silicon sources. Silica was prepared by precipitation method. The key of this technology is to convert crystalline silica and silicate into amorphous silica. Raw materials mainly include wollastonite, opal, halloysite, olivine, serpentine, kaolin, hard kaolin, coal gangue, fly ash, etc.
At present, precipitation method is adopted in the production of silicon dioxide, and most domestic production enterprises adopt precipitation method.
